If the disease is caught early and there is adequate medical treatment available then yes, there is hope. Unfortunately, this disease is not often caught early, as the first stages often show no physical symptoms. As Hepatitis progresses into the chronic stages liver damage can occur and as this is a vital bodily organ the effects can be devastating, even fatal.

Also, although Hepatitis is fully curable if caught in time, World Health Organisations do not have the funding for research and treatment for the virus. Couple this with the fact that many people are unaware of how the disease is spread and we have a very serious problem on our hands.
